Aragonite (calcium carbonate) is a mineral that is similar chemically to calcite but has a different crystal shape. Aragonite is the material that makes up mollusk shells and even human fingernails and teeth. It also comes in very unusual mineral and biological forms - stalactites, cave flowers, and coral. The name comes from crystals found in Aragon, Spain.
Aragonite is an excellent grounding stone that distributes energy throughout the whole body.
It is a supportive stone that settles unrest, deepens the connection with Earth, and stabilizes spiritual development.
